I feel fortunate to have started my maritime career between 2004 and 2006 on a 42-meter passenger vessel with a capacity of 600. I gained extensive experience in virtually every aspect of ship operations, both onshore and offshore. Each day, we transported over 400 passengers to another island, 18 miles away, transferring them to other boats for a 12-hour tour. My responsibilities ranged from galley duties and service to cleaning and basic seamanship. This experience also gave me an in-depth knowledge of the area between Marmaris and Dalyan.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have served aboard the "Hayati," a 24-meter Taiwanese ketch sailboat, from 2008 to 2011. I am deeply grateful for this vessel, which provided me with an invaluable opportunity to experience and learn sailing and seamanship at the highest level. Used for both private and charter trips, the yacht sailed extensively throughout the Aegean and Mediterranean. During this time, I also gained significant experience in advanced carpentry and yacht painting. In particular, teak deck replacement and varnishing were among my regular duties. I also honed my sailing skills and even achieved first place in a Marmaris sailing race. Subsequently, two more identical sister ships of the "Hayati" were acquired, tripling my workload. These additional yachts, owned by our family company, operated exclusively as charter vessels.

From 2012 to 2014, I embarked on another incredibly valuable and enriching experience in my career, serving aboard the "Shubra 2," a mega motor yacht engaged in international voyages. I began my service as an Able Seaman on this impressive 63-meter vessel, but within a short period, I was promoted to the role of Bosun. I also simultaneously held the responsibility of captaining a 19-meter Princess 56 chase boat, further broadening my experience. Our itineraries took us from Italy and Greece to destinations as far afield as Dubai and Egypt, amassing a total of over 40,000 nautical miles. This extensive travel included five crossings of areas known for piracy, five transits of the Suez Canal, five crossings of the Indian Ocean, as well as countless voyages throughout the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas. This high-intensity mega yacht experience, spanning more than two years, has had a profound and lasting impact on my career trajectory.
